15 Best Personal Care Brand Examples on TikTok I Like (2024)

If you’re looking for some inspo for brands who are doing an epic job with content creation and growth on TikTok, you’ve come to the right place. I’ve put together some of the top brands within Personal Care who are growing fast and doing awesome content worth checking out.

Whether you’re in the personal care/skincare or haircare niche or just happen to stumble upon this resource guide and are interested to see who’s doing well on TikTok, then you’ll get some good inspo and learnings from the brands below. 

There are numerous variables that go into what makes a TikTok account grow, and content (obviously) plays a big role. 

With the notes/commentary below, I’ve highlighted some key takeaways I like - but it certainly doesn’t include many other factors, nor goes deep into a content analysis of each video (you can do so yourself). :)

Oh and Dan, how did you find all these brands?

Well funnily enough, you can easily find them via organic searching through TikTok, or even going to the likes of the TikTok Creative Centre (which is totally worth checking out). 

1. MAELYS

MAELYS specialises in body and skin care products, focusing on innovative solutions for firming and cellulite reduction.

Their account is growing, with over 190k+ followers and 390k+ likes!

  • All of MAELYS videos are high-quality, with a clean, professional, and creative presentation of their products.
  • They primarily regularly feature UGC-style from influencers on their page. 
  • I quite like the thumbnails they’ve used to call out key topics - helps with those coming across their profile for the first time to scan and find the content they might be interested in watching. 
  • Like any brand that does well on the platform, they use trending sounds in their videos to grab the attention of those swiping up.

2. Priceline Australia

With more than 1m+ likes on TikTok, Priceline Australia is a leading health and beauty retailer that offers a wide range of products and services.

I really have to give it to Priceline and their social team - amazing work! The content and style of videos are very good.

  • Priceline feature videos from influencers (mainly first-person style) who shop at their store and share thoughts/tips/opinions on their favourite products. 
  • Not only just influencers, though, but also their in-store staff - which is a great initiative for any marketer/founder reading this and having a physical store. 
  • Their feed includes a wide range of content, including lipstick swatches, makeup tutorials, and fragrance tests, showcasing the variety of products they sell.

3. Shaver Shop

With more than 75k+ likes on TikTok, Shaver Shop offers a wide range of personal grooming products while focusing on quality and affordability.

This is another brand which I wasn’t expecting who have an awesome TikTok profile - kudos to their content/socials team!

  • The thumbnails contain text that pops to ensure they catch the scrollers/viewer's attention.
  • Shaver Shop’s page is rich with how-to videos, offering extensive guidance on various topics.
  • Captions are consistently included in their videos (which helps keep viewers engaged/following along).

4. The Jojoba Company

With more than 40k+ likes on TikTok, The Jojoba Company specialises in skincare products based on the hydrating properties of jojoba oil.

  • Their videos consistently incorporate a hint of yellow, giving them a branded look that's easily recognisable and distinguishable (smart tactic for building brand recognition in the market.

  • The most-viewed video, amassing over 2.7m+ views, creatively shows all the products included in their Christmas gift set. 
  • The founder herself features in the videos and offers skincare advice and insights into the scientific research behind their products. 

5. Hot Tools Pro Australia

With more than 19k+ likes on TikTok, Hot Tools Pro Australia offers professional-grade hair styling tools known for durability and innovative technology.

  • Their top-performing video (over 420k+ views) highlights the use of their blowout brush designed to minimise hair damage.
  • Hot Tools’ page is filled with numerous hairstyling tutorials that showcase the use of their hair care products.
  • They focus on value-lead content, such as tips /tricks, to ensure viewers and audiences can understand how their product works (and how to achieve optimal results).

6. Panasonic Personal Care

Panasonic Personal Care provides high-quality grooming and beauty devices while ensuring innovation and user comfort - they have earned more than 350k+ likes and 130k+ followers on TikTok.

  • The most popular video on their channel (over 1m+ views) demonstrates the convenience brought by their innovative hair dryer.
  • The feed is enriched with UGC, where creators employ imaginative approaches to showcasing the products.
  • Their content also takes a humorous turn, illustrating the versatility of their trimmer by using it on items like pillows and slippers.
  • They’ve also created curated playlists across a range of topics, including hairstyling tips, myths, reviews, and fun content such as “Hairoscopes”.

7. Beardbrand

Beardbrand offers premium beard care products and focuses on natural ingredients for grooming and maintenance.

They’re doing a tremendous job on TikTok with more than 750k+ followers and 11M likes!

Plus, Beardbrand has always done an amazing job with their marketing across their ads, organic channels, email marketing and even their store - gotta check them out!

8. First Aid Beauty

With more than 115k+ followers and 400k+ likes on TikTok, First Aid Beauty specialises in skincare solutions for sensitive skin, emphasising safety, efficacy, and simplicity.

9. Airys Hair

With more than 2.5k+ followers on TikTok, Airys Hair offers quality extensions in various textures and colours.

With more than 170k+ likes on TikTok, Curlsmith offers specialised haircare products for curly and wavy hair while focusing on natural ingredients and nourishment.

  • In terms of content creation, Curlsmith creates entertaining POV videos that humorously address situations related to curly hair. 

11. Shark Beauty

Shark Beauty provides innovative hair styling tools, emphasising technology and design for professional-grade results at home.

They have more than 65k+ followers and 255k+ likes on TikTok.

  • Shark Beauty excels in organising their content with dedicated playlists for each of their products.

  • They also utilise “pinned” videos at the top of the feed, which helps amass view counts - which is also great for new audiences coming across their account.

12. TYMO BEAUTY

With more than 85k+ likes on TikTok, TYMO BEAUTY offers hair styling tools that combine innovative technology with sleek design for effortless beauty routines.

13. Silver Bullet Hair

With over 7.5K likes on TikTok, Silver Bullet Hair specialises in professional hair tools and accessories, focusing on performance and durability for stylists.

14. Oudira

Oudira specialises in unique beauty and hair products for self-expression and confidence enhancement - they’ve earned more than 25k+ followers and 540k+ likes on TikTok.

  • Their top video, with over 6.5 million views, highlights the use of their hair tool. (subtly showcasing its key USP qualities).
  • In fact, they have a couple pieces which have amassed millions in views, and they’ve ensured to pin these at the top. This can help guide new viewers and audiences to check them out.
  • Most of the videos are POV-style, focused on tutorials using the tool.

15. INH Hair

INH Hair offers high-quality, easy-to-use hair extensions and wigs and focuses on versatility and instant transformations.

They’re growing rapidly with more than 225k+ followers and 3.9m+ likes!

  • INN’s have setup curated playlists, which include topics around hair hacks, inspo, tips, and tutorials - they’ve also got some fun categories.
  • They excel in recreating hairstyles from award shows or those inspired by celebrities. 
  • INN also feature their team members in the videos from time to time (i.e. ”behind-the-scenes” style).
